Q. What is Door and Window Tape used for?
A. Door and Window Tape is an excellent above grade moisture, air and dust barrier. It is designed for application around window and door penetrations, corner boards, wall tie-ins, sheathing panel seams, under masonry and stucco and other detail areas.

Q. Does Door and Window Tape have any energy saving features?
A. Yes, because Door and Window Tape stops air leakage, it helps to reduce energy costs for the homeowner.

Q. What type surfaces will Door and Window Tape adhere to?
A. The product self-adheres to most concrete, block, gypsum, or wood surfaces.

Q. Will the product adhere to wet, dirty or dusty surfaces?
A. No, surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, oil and grease. Use of a primer is recommended on wood composition panels and on dirty or weathered surfaces.

Q. Does the ambient temperature at time of application matter?
A. Warmer conditions are ideal for good adhesion. Application should be made when ambient temperatures are 50 degrees Fahrenheit or higher. Product should be stored where the temperature is 50 degrees or above.

Q. How long can Door and Window Tape be left exposed?
A. All installed product must be covered and not left exposed for more than 60 days.

Q. How thick is Door and Window Tape?
A. The product is approximately 27 mils thick.

Q. What is the size of a roll?
A. The product is available in precut widths of 4-, 6-, 9-, 12-inch-wide rolls.
