Product Limitations

Inspect BarrierKraft 60, making sure it’s free of any damage including tears or punctures that could compromise its performance. After inspection and installation, cover immediately to limit prolonged UV exposure. Do not install on a horizontal surface, roof, or in a below grade application.

Installation

It is crucial to follow local and national building code requirements and recommendations for installing weather-resistive barriers and grade “D” products. Refer to International Residential Building Code (IRC) Section R703.2 for details and recommendations. Always, prepare the exterior wall by cleaning and removing any debris that could damage or affect the performance of BarrierKraft 60. Make sure the walls are dry and apply BarrierKraft 60 horizontally following proper overlap for vertical and horizontal seams.
